World gazes at ‘blood moon’ of a total lunar eclipse, longest of this century – Twin Cities
The full moon is seen over the Mattielli statue at the Dresden Cathedral during a lunar eclipse in Dresden, Germany, 27 July 2018. The world witnessd the longest total lunar eclipse in the century that left the moon in a spectacular red colour for 1 hour and 43 minutes while the partial phase continued for more than 6 hours.
